Carrier Tape Splicer is tool allowing to splice SMT reel carrier tape.
If for instance some quantity of component is cut from the reel, and later you want to add components to this cut carrier tape you can use SPLICE-CT tool to splice both tapes together.
It has 4 mm guide punch holes which allow preciese to match the both tapes which have to be spliced.
One splice strip goes to the top and one to the bottom holding both the carrier tape and protective film.
