ARM-USB-OCD with LPC1778

I use a Olimex ARM-USB-OCD to debug and program a LPC 1778 Cortex M3 microcontroller. I have an issue with the JTAG clock frequency it seems like can only connect to the target when running the clock at a very low frequency (about 75 kHz).  I use the ARM-USB-OCD with Crossworks developing environment. Is this what can be expected using this debugger with an ARM Cortex M3 microcontroller? Should I use a ARM-USB-OCD-H instead?
