Help!

I have an STM32 which I have been using and programming but tonight, it will no longer connect to
my XP machine as a COM port so I can't program it.

I first noticed in the Maple IDE that the serial port was not seen so I looked at the
Device manager.

When I first connect the STM32 to my PC USB port I see a LibUSB-Win32 device show up momentarily in
Device Manager but then it disappears...

I shut down my PC but rebooting didn't help...

How can I fix this so that my PC registers this device?
Thank you

Hello japper,

Try uninstalling and then installing the drivers again.

Follow these instructions:https://www.olimex.com/Products/Duino/STM32/OLIMEXINO-STM32/resources/Olimexino-STM32_Installation.pdf

If still fails try the installation instructions here:http://leaflabs.com/docs/maple-ide-install.html. The dfu drivers might be found in the Maple IDE folders.

Of course, there is always a tiny chance that you have somehow managed to corrupt the bootloader or the board has received some sort of hardware damage.
