Linux image with DHCP enabled

Hello,
I am not able the get access to the A20 because I don't have a HDMI display nor the USB-TTL-cable.
It would be no problem if I could access the board via SSH but unfortunatelly LAN autodetection is disabled.
I don't think disabling autodetection is a good idea.
I also tried to edit the interfaces file but I'm not able to mount it in Windows (tried different tools) nor mouting the SDcard via Vbox using USB-redirection.

Is there a way to get an image with enabled network device and DHCP enabled?

Usually it has a static IP address so just use it.  No need for DHCP.

USB-TTL are very very very cheap.  Buy a few.

A Linux LiveCD will mount and let you make changes.

Any or all of the above should help.

The Olimex people claim that having eth0 autodetected by default causes instability issues, but I've never had any issues with it.
You need a Linux machine to access the SD card, the LiveCD suggestion is a good one if you don't have a Linux computer with a card reader.

Enabling the eth0 at boot, take too long if there is not any cable attached and DHCP avalaible. I guess this is the reason to disable auto eth0 in the default config.

I was able to change the eth0 setting within the image.
I set up a virtual linux machine and mounted the image.
