Access UEXT module inside Linux for communication

I have an Olinuxino A13 board loaded with linux as given here (https://www.olimex.com/forum/index.php?topic=537.0).

I also have some modules with UEXT interface.

My doubt is whether UEXT has a specific driver which needs to be installed inside the Linux?

How can i communicate to another device through UEXT interface from the Linux?
