Dear Sirs;  For some time I have been watching for a decent Open router I might use and recommend for my self and others.  it seems there are many of these such projects that have come and stalled for many reasons. (Rooter, turris, ORP1).  And here it seems Olimex has one (sorta) sitting on a shelf?  The RT5350F-OLinuXino.  With a great price too!  It seems it has been quite popular for you.  Congratulations.

Have you considered a higher performance Wifi Router board? What are your thoughts on this?  To the opposite of your point on the esp8266 what is available for high end secure open high performance OPEN wifi chips?  It seems modern wifi routers with large memories and 3x external antennas sell for hundreds of dollars.  Do you see room for you to enter this domain with an open project?
