GSM or much better 4G

Hi,

As a personal project (for learning) I would like to create a mifi device running openwrt.

I thing that the RT5350F board + a 4G/LTE module (GSM instead) could be a great starting point. I do not want to use any usb dongle. Do you think that the NANO-GSM could work?

Does, any of you, know any board from Olimex (or any other vendor) that I could use?
