Connecting Duinomite-eMega using serial port

I recently acquired this board. Is it possible to connect via serial port to a MacMini? All USBSerial cables came with male pins, so is this board too. Can i
use pins from UEXT using a FTDI serial cable to get a serial console?

No problem to use FTDI serial cable on the UEXT serial interface. I use it on several Olimex products. However cannot you use the standard USB interface on the eMEGA?
