CH340 USB to UART driver bug

Hi, I just got the ANET A8 3D printer, but I can't increase the UART speed from the default 115200 baud (I keep getting checksum errors when I send commands). I want to do this because uploading 10MiB g-code files to the SD card is slow.

Then I saw in the CH340 driver properties page (in device manager) that the highest baud rates that can be set are 115200 and 128000. This probably explains why. I tried setting baud to 128000 and that works.

I'm using Windows 10 and the driver version is 3.4.2014.8.

Can you please release a new driver that supports higher baud? I think 1.5M should be easily achievable.

Do you mean the CH340 driver?  Isn't it a Chinese device so you'd have to ask them (or maybe Mickeysoft).

Whoops, wrong company. I thought Olimex made the CH340 since the datasheet was on its site:

OK, I guess I'll contact Microsoft, since wch is probably an OEM and doesn't expect to do customer service. That driver is definitely flaky. It even blue screened once.
