A20 Pinout at GPIO-3 PIN 16: What is right PB8 (Manual) or PB9 (schematic) ?

Hello,

a) In document: A20-OLinuXino-Lime2_Rev_B.pdf it documents as PB9
b) in A20_User_Manual_v1.4_20150510.pdf it is documented on page 36 as PB8

So in case of a) is right  where is PB8 on GPIO-3 ?

The problem: I tried to light a LED on PIN-16 GPIO-3 and it did not work, other Pins work.

Hi Winfried,

I used the document to setup pins for a project, and the document seemed to be accurate.

in A20-OLinuXino-Lime2_Rev_B.pdf it states that pin-16 on GPIO-3 is PB9

Looking in my script.fex (converted the script.bin located in /boot to script.fex using the bin2fex tool) I see that on my board, PB9 is not used or set as a GPIO port. This may be why yours did not work, it may not be initialised in the script.bin file.

The user manual was wrong! It is now fixed!

In situations like this always trust the schematic. Also when checking on the schematic make sure that the schematic represents the exact hardware revision of your board.
