How can I use the prototiping pad

Hi!

I´m using the olimex stm32-407 in the university and I came up with a little issue
I have to use the pads on the proto area, I searched for info in the documentation (STM32-P407 user's manual) but only found the pad id and the signal name, nothing about how to use them in a program.

Is there any library or include to manage the input/output?, can I access them via memory as the leds or the buttons?

I´m completly new with this so any kind of information will be really helpful
