How to load A13 board Android image under linux (without a Windows PC) ?

Hi,

as I do not have any windows pc at home how could I load the android image on the A13 board with my Linux computer (Porteus distribution = slackware based) ?

You should do what us windows users do:

1. Load Virtualbox (free from Oracle):
https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads

2. Download a 90 day trial of Windows 7, this pages has links to http://download.microsoft.com so you don't have to create a Microsoft login to get the files (1.1 GB I think): http://www.infopackets.com/news/business/microsoft/2010/20100401_windows_7_trial_download_free_90_days_extended.htm

3. Once Windows is running, go to the Virtualbox dropdown: Devices > Install Guest Additions

Now you can mount usb devices to the Virtualbox and do everything a Windows computer can do.
