Using mod-gsm with rs232

As I understand this module works via rs232 but I cannot connect to it with minicom. When I've tried two-wire uart with no flow control (115200 8N1) responses were either "a" or "C" which is not good according to module datasheet. With flow controll, I connected DSR to pin 10 of UEXT and I got no reaction... and if I swap RX/TX pins I get echoed back my commnads and no respnse...So my first question is: does it need hardware flow control ? from Sim340dz datasheet it certainly says so... Scond: DCE-DTE connection determines pin named DSR which one is this on uext connetor on mod-gsm ?
