Hi OLIMEX!

I hope you had a nice vacation!

I just received my dev-kit, and am wondering if the image here:

https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0B-bAEPML8fwlc0xGVUdqa1lFQ28&export=download

can be used to flash the NAND chip. (I am downloading it right now...)

Furthermore, can you recommend a completely LINUX based tool chain for flashing the NAND?

Thanks,
D

I don't think so.
It's the microSD debian image.
I think that something must be changed to put this on a flash filesystem.

Thanks for the info.

I would be interested in finding out how to contribute my time to get the NAND version of the debian image up and running.

Any ideas?

Hi,

It was also the case for A10s boards until recently when I did searches/reading and figure out a recipe to transfer a MicroSD image into the NAND of my A10s. Here is the link of my recipe :

Since then, I work only using this NAND, although I'm doing backups into MicroSD, because I got my NAND corrupted one time after a power failure.

I should receive a A20 board in the following days/week, my order been process but maybe not quick enough to be shipped before vacation. When I will receive it, I will be able to help having A20 Debian into NAND.
