Olimex offers an impressive amount of hardware platforms. What are the best for this purpose?

Teensy 2.0 and 3.0 are USB MIDI class compliant. In general Teensy is much nicer (better supported, more active) than Arduino hardware – and uses the same libraries and code environment...

I have developed a embedded x86 software to integrate many USB MIDI class-compliant devices (ALSA device) on the Network : DIY network MIDI Encoder, Gateway, Processor www.cauldronmidi.org .
Practically USB-MIDI devices are exported to the Network in both directions. Support for USB-MIDI devices is fully plug-and-play and greatly simplifies the setup.

Many people will be interested in creating their own projects with many USB-MIDI class compliant devices.

Your advice is very welcome.

Thanks,
Elia
