iMX233-MAXI plastic box problem

Hello,

I purchased [iMX233 MAXI and Pactec JM42 plastic box, both from Mouser, as per instructions here: https://www.olimex.com/Products/OLinuXino/iMX233/iMX233-OLinuXino-MAXI/

When parts arrived I found out that the electrolytic capacitor of iMX233-MAXI is too high so that it is impossible to fit both parts of the  Pactec case together. I am not able to fix and close this box with iMX233 inside.

Has anyone else the same problem or the idea how fix?

Hello there,

I just tested a new box and an iMX233-OLinuXino-MAXI again. I managed to fit the board in the box with a couple of tweaks:

1. There were some big over soldered pins at the bottom which I cut carefully so they don't push the board up.
2. There were 4x2 plastic trays (edges) at the bottom part of the box which I cut to help the board fit
