A20 Kernel 3.4.90+ slow iceweasel

Hi,

I am completely new to Olimex and to Linux,
I managed to build a new kernel by following the guide http://olimex.wordpress.com/2013/11/05/building-the-ultimate-debian-sd-card-for-linux-with-kernel-3-4-for-a20-olinuxino-micro/
The version from https://github.com/linux-sunxi/linux-sunxi  at today is the version "3.4.90+"
The kernel seems to work perfectly, didn't test all features yet.

However the browser "iceweasel" (integrated in the image) seems to be much slower (3x) then the browser "Midori" integrated in the latest image from Olimex "3.4.67+".
I used a HTML5 – javascript web application to test.

Any help appreciated.

The browser has nothing to do with kernel. Try to install midori:
$ sudo apt-get install midori

Thanks for the help,

indeed "Midori" is about 2 - 3 times faster to "iceweasel".

A20 with "Midori" gives me about the same speed as on my ipad3
