audio input broken on all olimex imx233 boards 2.x 3.x kernels

Hi, just wondered if audio input is still non functional on all olimex imx233 boards in all 2.x 3.x kernels?

Using kernel code from here https://github.com/ITserve/imx23-audio and build instructions from here http://www.jann.cc/2012/08/23/building_a_kernel_3_x_for_the_olinuxino_from_sources.html I managed to get a 3.10 kernel with sound up and running. I believe others in this https://www.olimex.com/forum/index.php?topic=704.0 thread have managed to make it work with later kernels.

However I get occasional alsa over-runs when testing with the sox rec command. So I am unsure if this is stable enough for a production environment.
