Hi,

I bought several olimexino 32u4 some time ago.
One of them, recording a sketch, suddenly it turned off. The board no longer works.
Is it possible that the bootloader has been erased?
How can I burn the bootloader?
Maybe is there any component burned?
Can I do some checking to the board?

Thanks for your attention.

Hey hey,

There is a decent explanation on pages 8 and 9 of the manual: https://www.olimex.com/Products/Duino/AVR/OLIMEXINO-32U4/resources/OLIMEXINO-32U4-Revision-B.pdf.

The hexes are available at 32u4's web-page: https://www.olimex.com/Products/Duino/AVR/OLIMEXINO-32U4/.

If you want you can measure if the voltage at the tripple jumper is correct: plug in external power - the jumper for the power should be set at 5V position; then measure 3.3V and 5V (put the probe end on one and then the other end of the triple jumper, the other probe must be on a GND somewhere on the board).
