MOD-IO Digital I/O error

Hi,
I am trying to read the value of the digital I/O of the MOD-IO.
I use i2cget -y -f 1 0x58 0x20 to get the value, I get a value of 0x80 or 0x81 for the first two entires but after that i get nothing back 0x00. When I run i2cdetect -y 1 I can see that all of the table is full and i have to reset the board to continue.

How can i fix this?
