Eps32 Gateway serial port

A serial port could be implemented on the board. Pin 16 and 17.
I work with the Arduino IDE.

Pin 16 and 17 or GPIO 16 and 17? Which hardware revision of the board do you have? In newest revisions, GPIO17 is used for Ethernet clock and you can't use it for other purposes.

Check the PDF of the schematic of the correct hardware revsion of your board and check if there is wire named exactly "GPIO17\EMAC_CLK_OUT_180", if there is - then GPIO17 is not available for UART purposes.
