Hello

I have A20 Lime2 Rev.K and I want to install latest official Ubuntu Bionic from
ftp://staging.olimex.com/Allwinner_Images/A20-OLinuXino/1.latest_mainline_images/bionic/images/

System is starting and after Starting kernel there is shutdown. Green LED blinks shortly.

I modified EEPROM with olinuxino config write 9243 k, saved changes but no result.

I prepared 3 SD cards and there is the same behaviour on each (so I do not suppouse that it is SD card issue).

Below logs from console

You tested 3 cards but did you use the same process and tool to prepare them? Can you try preparing one card with another tool, for example BalenaEtcher?

If the boot process stops it is usually related to insufficient power supply - at certain points the board draws more current. How much voltage do you provide to the power jack? Is your power supply good enough? Can you try to attach a Li-Po battery to clear any doubt in the power supply?

The log indicates some issue with the USB controller. Do you have anything attached to the USB?

Did you run any update or upgrade? Your report seems similar to this one: https://forum.armbian.com/topic/5822-lime2-doesnt-start-after-armbian-535-update/

Hello,

Thank you for quick response and all advices.

I powered up Lime2 with laboratory power supplier. Normal measured current was about 0,5A and no current limit occured (2A has been set). Maybe current limit occured for short time and I did not notice it.

I changed current limit to 4A and everything is ok.

Thank you for accurate indication.

Best regards
