Hello,

I am trying to configure MOD-IRDA+ with ESPHome with the goal of talking IR under the control of Home Assistant.

However, so far the results are not encouraging!

ESPHome seems to want its IR LEDs and sensors in one pin, with no PIC messing in the middle.

Is there a reasonably straightforward way to make this, or should I save time and just buy a dumber IR module?
