ESP32-POE and IIS3DWB

Hello all,
I'm trying to use an IIS3DWB connected to an ESP32-POE using SPI. I found the generic C driver from ST Microelectronics site but I'm not able to make it work.
Anyone has experience with it and can share some examples?
