buildroot for IMX8MP SOM

Hello. I am very new to this technology - I loaded the provided buildroot image to the sd card. Upon boot up I see a blinking curser on screen but cannot type any commands or navigate anywhere. Is there a guide to getting started? Thank you!

Use the Armbian image instead, it is more fitting for beginners. It is in the "imx8mpevk-bookworm-20250225-120000.img.xz" archive when you follow the images link from the product page. Then log with user "root" and password "1234" without the quotes to get started.
