Touchscreen on Android suddenly not working after reboot/power off

Hi guys

I'm having a strange issue (for the second time now). I have a iiyama TS attached via VGA, and all is working fine for some time (egalax touch controller, idc file added under /system/usr.idc). But all of a sudden (after a random reboot) the touches aren't recognized anymore by android. Getevent though still does recognize the touches. I have no clue what's going on. Any ideas someone?
