MP3 PLAYER with STM32F4

I have seen several examples on the web of mp3 players for Discovery STM32F4 board, which has a built-DAC (CS43L22).

My question is:

Is it possible to play mp3 with the board STM32-E407 or any other that has a STM32F4 without the need to use an external DAC?
