mod-rtc + 3v lithium cell

hey!

i tried the mod-rtc with a cr2032 3v lithium cell but it doesn't work.
when powered over uext everything is fine...

anyone tried this with success?

should i use another lithium cell?

Hello Marc,

CR2032 is the correct one. Probably the battery was discharged or faulty.

Make sure to use a battery of good quality that wasn't sitting on the shelf for a long time.

Just double-checked the test routines used when manufacturing MOD-RTC. It includes a battery test.
