Hi

I like A10-OLinuXino-LIME design, i saw lot of peoples said the A10 and A20 is same (pin to pin), so, my question is can i change the A10-OLinuXino-LIME board A10 to A20 by directly :)

Thanks

flobber

I *think* the pinout is compatible - there was a
post on the blog sometime ago where Olimex did
change the A10 to an A20.

BUT, and that's a big BUT: do you have any experience
desoldering and soldering a 441-pin BGA package???
If not - forget it.  Just to scare you:

:-)

Even if you manage to successfully change the chips,
I doubt you will see any performance improvements.
The LIME has only a 16-bit memory interface.  That's
a bottleneck even for a single core - two cores will
only fight each other for the memory.

Take a real A20 board.

Ciao.

Thank you, Ciao.
Wow, who did that BGA soldering, i can't imagine people can do that :)
