Does Olinuxino have something to detect power fail/return? I checked the directory /etc/init.d/ and I couldn't find the script powerfail.

This isn't an Olinuxino-specific feature, this is a default feature of SysV-compatible inits, designed to work with devices like UPS, see man inittab (on system with SysV-compatible init) or http://www.manpages.info/linux/init.8.html.
