Power supply for the A20-olinuxino-lime

Newbie question here.

On the Olimex site, the power supply that is available is a 12 Volt one.  In all the documentation that I have read it states that the A20-olinuxino-lime requires a 5Volt power supply.  In the forums I see people playing around with anything raging from 5 volt to 16 volt.

Maybee a really stupid question but doe the A20-olinuxino-lime need a 5 Volt PSU or will it also accept a 12 Volt one?

As the product page (and I believe the manual also) says, 5V.

Some of the more expensive boards have flexible power inputs.
