Newhaven 7" LCD with CAP touch working with for A20

I've managed to build a custom PCB for the Newhaven 7" cap touch LCD using the same driver for the LED as the F07A-0102 LCD I used before which was based on the Olimex backlight driver.

The exact same timing works with the LCD as per the Olimex LCD but this time the touch is the FT5x06 but I had to modify the driver to remove the twi_id=0 check as I was connected to that bus and it would fail. Once the kernel was rebuilt, it just worked.



I'll be updating the blog in a few days with the changes needed.

I'm just trying to do the same as you.

I have a touch that requires the edt-ft5x06, but I don't know how to add the ft5x06 driver to a new build of the kernel.
Or maybe do I have to modify the current driver?
