Connect LCD display to OLinuxino Lime

Hi, I have a OLinuxino Lime. To connect a LCD display should I take the power from pin 1 or pin 35 of the LCD Extension? I need the 5 Vdc.

In their designs they use pin 35 to switch the 5V and 3.3V from pin 1 and pin 3
