Programing MSP430-CCRF using Code Composer Studio.

Is it at all possible to program MSP430-CCRF using Code Composer Studio Version 5.2? I get this message when I try the LED blink example: MSP430: File Loader: Data verification failed at address 0x00000200 Please verify target memory and memory map.

What is strange is that the example works from time to time!!! Then I get the message above. I couldn't figure out what makes it work and what break it.

When I create an empty project, targeting cc430f5137, I get the following error:
MSP430: Trouble Writing Memory Block at 0x8000 on Page 0 of Length 0x92: Could not erase device memory.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hello,

This is a known problem with our programmers and CCS v5. We are trying to resolve it. Check the FAQ section of MSP-JTAG-TINY-V2: https://www.olimex.com/Products/MSP430/JTAG/MSP430-JTAG-TINY-V2/. You can switch to previous version of drivers (1.0.4.1) and then it will not crash (MSP430F5137 is supported by the previous version of drivers)! The previous drivers can be found on the web page of the programmer.

Alternatively you can use IAR for MSP, our free programmer or MSP-GCC.
