Hi Olimex,

I have downloaded the preliminary image for A13 Micro & copied it on SD card.
After sometime i am able to see boot sequences in my Putty.
Then I entered the Login (root) & Password (password) in my putty terminal.
I have connected VGA screen with my A13 Micro board.
I don't have USB hub , so i have connected keyboard only with my board.
Have also given power from 5V power supply.
But I can only see below lines written in my VGA screen ,

Debian GNU/Linux wheezy/sid A13Micro tty1

A13Micro login:

I have tried to write Login in my board, but there is no progress.
Debian image is not being loaded in my Micro board.
Do i have to write something in putty or my board and what it should be.
Like I have tried R15 image of JWISCHKA in my A13 wifi board and in this i have to write startx to start my debian image.
so please tell me what should i do.

From what you posted it sounds like it is working.

You will have to explain more about what you think is wrong.

Please refer ONLY to the board you originally posted about.  If you feel you must go on about the Wifi board do yourself a favour and start a new thread.  Mixing them is not helping you.

hi john,
actually i do have A13 Micro board also.
so i was trying to starting it.
i can only see below lines in my VGA screen ,

Debian GNU/Linux wheezy/sid A13Micro tty1

A13Micro login:

Then i wrote login root in my Micro board with keyboard attached but nothing is being written on VGA Screen.
I did wait for long time to see if the debian will start but there is nothing in my scren accept above 2 lines.
Do i have to make partition before copying image to sd card.
i havn't made any partition on my sd card.
i have directly copied the image to sd card.

An image (IMG) file normally contains its own partitions.  (Easy to check using a Linux host, no idea on windoze.)

That sounds like it's working.  Can you login through the micro's uart?  That way you can start to see whether the running Linux works but also whether it can see your USB keyboard.  After all, it may not be set for it.

Ideas: try dmesg and lsusb -v

If you are using A13-OLinuXino-MICRO board, you can't connect keyboard directly to USB. You need USB hub to do so.

Indeed, the micro usb port is a fast usb port. The only way to connect slow devices is through an usb hub.
An X client is not supported on the micro due the lack of memory as far as I know.

You can run it, it will just be very slow.
