D/A and A/D on light 2

I seem to be the first on here so hope this is the right forum for this type of question.

I'm guessing that many of those interested in the Light 2, like me, are former BBC micro owners who wish to use the card to educate kids how to programme.

One of the most helpful ways to understand how computers work is to demonstrate how they can be used to control things in the real world rather than just on a screen. Clearly, the GPIO is excellent for simple on/off controls but A/D and D/A would be really helpful. Is there any existing add-on modules that can be attached to the Light 2 that can be controlled through Basic?

There are modules that can be attached on the GPIO or UEXT header but I am not sure if the software support for I2C is there and how easy it is to get the software working. Might be better to join and ask in official Facebook group about the state of the software support here:

Aside from the software side of things, the hardware side is much clearer. Modules that can easily be attached and expand the AgonLight2 are like the products AgonLight2-HvIO, AgonLight2-Proto that get attached via the GPIO header; and then via UEXT connector you can attach modules like MOD-IO and MOD-IO2:
