Zigbee pir + Xbee or TI CC2531

Hi,

For a school project our client wants us to create a zigbee network so we would like to connect an Olimex mod-zigbee-pir sensor with a Xbee module.

Is there any software available that let's us do this?

We also got a TI CC2531, is it possible to connect the Olimex sensor with that?
